Can you help support Women in Boat Building in 2026?
Women in Boat Building is a Community Interest Company, run as a not-for-profit for the benefit of the Boat Building and related Marine Trades Industry. We are now actively looking for funding for 2026 so that we can continue championing diversity and inclusion in an often very male-dominated space.
Our community has made a difference to many women in the industry - from making them feel like its a space they belong, to providing contacts, guidance, and even creating media stories to attract people into the industry. Our network is having a direct impact on recruitment and retention.
In 2025, we also created the first ever Wooden Boat Stage at Southampton Boat Show - helping ALL the people in the UK Wooden Boat industry to have a platform for their stories and skills.
We are volunteer-run and are operating on a shoestring - but monthly costs of £400/month keep us legal and visible - can you fund a month of WIBB in 2026?
